As a couple who loves our adventures, we’ve spent much time searching for heated gloves. It’s not something you think about until you actually need them.
We moved to the coast of North Carolina in hopes of a warmer climate by the beach, and certainly not thinking about the bitter cold weather. Beaufort doesn’t escape winter, therefore we have to prepare for crisp winter air that not only bites at our noses but our hands.

In recent years, we have noticed that the cold temperatures cause our hands pain. We have struggled to find gloves that keep our cold hands warm. We’ve tried wool, polyester, and just about every brand of insulated gloves for hand warmth to no avail. I (shannon) even put two pairs of gloves on, bulking up on the insulation, but my hands still felt the cold and the pain.
Someone suggested that I may have Raynaud’s syndrome. Raynaud’s disease is an issue where there is an issue with blood flow in your hands and fingers. I have noticed when colder temperatures arise, it becomes more of a pain issue for me. Talking with other people who have been diagnosed with Raynaud’s syndrome, they, too, struggle with finding cold-weather gear for their hands.
That is no longer an issue as we shout to anyone we know, how wonderful the Venustas gloves are.
Best Heated Gloves for Adventure
There’s something magical about winter adventures, but let’s be real, the frozen fingers struggle is oh-so-real. Enter the unsung heroes of our winter escapades: Venustas heated gloves.

When we heard about these heated gloves, we were all, “Yeah, sure they are the best.” ((eye roll)) Why not give them a try though? The only thing we were thinking is that they may be warm, but will they also warm the back of the hands? Have you noticed that the best winter gloves may keep some warmth within your palms, but nothing seems to help the outer layer- the back of the hand area?
We tried these for the first time on one of the first cold days we had and, wow! Our outdoor activities have taken a turn for the better!
How the Venustas Heated Gloves Work
We were a little intimidated when the package arrived, not gonna lie. The gloves are a little massive looking, and there are cords, battery packs, and a carrying case. Seriously. These gloves come in a carrying case.
However, once we took the equipment all out and read the instructions, we realized there was nothing to be intimidated about.
Each pair of gloves has two battery packs- one for each glove. The pair also comes with a charger that splits off into two ends to plug into the battery packs. Once charged, the battery pack is inserted into a little pocket on the outside of the glove that connects. It doesn’t get in the way, in fact, you forget the battery is inside the glove pocket once you are wearing them.

Each glove has a little square power button. Once they warm up (about 5 minutes) you can adjust the level. It starts at the lowest setting for low heat. By clicking the button again you go to medium heat, and again for high heat, allowing for three different heat settings. The heating system is pretty great and is noticeably different.
We find on warmer days, even when there is a chill in the air, we use them and mainly love the water resistance when we are walking on the beach in the winter.
The Magical Warmth
Now, is it really magic? No. It is the tech goodness, but it feels like magic. These gloves aren’t just keeping our hands warm; they’re like mini furnaces on our fingers.
If you have tried those mini heated hand warmer charcoal packs, you are probably thinking that there is no way that the magic gets better than those. The issue with those is that you have to hold them to warm your hands. They are also one-use products, so not very eco-friendly.

Powered by futuristic heating tech, the Venustas Gloves turn our adventures and morning strolls into cozy experiences. Plus, the adjustable settings let us dial in the perfect warmth level. It’s like having a personal thermostat for our hands.
While our morning walks are the best part of our day, I (shannon) used to dread the period when my hands would start to ache. There is nothing I would allow to get in the way of my morning strolls with Betty White, but gosh, that part sucked.
About 20-30 minutes into any outdoor activity in the winter, my poor hands felt like icicles. But thanks to these gloves, it’s a whole new experience.

Before heading out into the cold, we turn the gloves on. Once we are outdoors, we turn those babies up to high and head along to our adventure.
No more wincing from the cold; instead, we are able to enjoy the serenity of the winter mornings pain-free. Betty White seems to appreciate it too—less rushing home cutting our outdoor time short, means more sniffing and looking around for her.
Venustas Gloves are Essential for Our Adventures
The Venustas gloves not only shield us from the chill but become an essential part of our daily ritual. It’s like wearing warmth on our hands, an excellent choice for beating the frosty elements.

We’ve now taken them on our mountain adventures, snowy hikes, and high-elevation treks. It seems like a small thing, but feeling the cold breeze without the accompanying hand pain is a revelation. They are hands down (excuse the pun) the warmest glove we have ever used.
Other Benefits from the Venustas Heated Gloves
Now, let’s talk about the other bonuses we get from these premium heated gloves. These gloves are durable and water resistant, making them the ideal companions for our spontaneous beach strolls in the winter. No more fretting about soggy gloves or frozen fingers; we’re equipped to face whatever winter adventure we opt to experience.
Another benefit, the rechargeable battery ensures that each glove is always ready for action. No scrambling for disposable batteries or dealing with inconvenient power sources. It’s the little things that make a big difference in our wanderlusting lifestyle. They are also more sustainable since we do not have to go through a ton of batteries, or those hand warmer products you buy for one use. Rechargeable heated gloves are the way to go.
Gerry loves to use his Venustas as heated work gloves, not just for adventures when he is going to be working outdoors in extreme cold.
Ever had that annoying moment when your phone rings and you have to go through the whole ‘take-off-the-gloves’ situation just to answer? These gloves are like tech wizards; they’ve got touchscreen-compatible index tips for any mobile device. Answering calls, changing your playlist, or snapping pics of Betty White’s adorable looks she is serving —all doable without exposing our precious fingers to the chill.
The Aesthetic and Feel of the Battery-Heated Gloves
These gloves are black, and despite being electric heated, they don’t look all electronic, if you get our drift.
These bad boys (or girls- they are unisex) are packing some serious heat, thanks to their fancy graphene heating elements. They are actually lightweight and cozy. These gloves make you feel like you’re wrapped in a warm hug for your hands for a whopping 9 hours. That’s some next-level coziness, right? The battery life is one of the best features for us.

People of all genders can enjoy them. As we mentioned, they are unisex heated gloves. Gerry and I often grab each other’s not knowing. The trick is to make sure each glove has a fully charged battery. I can often be known for grabbing Gerry’s because I sometimes forget to charge mine. Shhh! Let’s keep that between us.
They have a bit of a snow glove sort of look- heated snow gloves! So, no one is going to be staring at your electric battery-heated gloves in confusion. They blend right in.
