FAQs | Frequently Asked Questions
Many vegetarian meals can be made without refrigeration. Look for non-perishable ingredients like canned beans, dried fruits, grains (like quinoa or couscous), and shelf-stable tofu. Pre-chopped veggies or freeze-dried vegetables also work great for longer camping trips.
Aim to include a mix of protein (like beans, lentils, or tofu), healthy fats (such as avocado or nuts), and complex carbs (grains, sweet potatoes, or pasta) in each meal. Add in fresh or dried vegetables for vitamins and fiber.
Definitely! Many vegetarian recipes, like chili, pasta dishes, and foil-packet meals, can be easily scaled up for larger groups. Just increase the portions of your ingredients and bring larger pots or skillets for cooking.
