Staying in the Sky Loft
The farm has various types of lodging, including cottages, estate homes, and suites. We stayed in the Sky Loft, a gorgeous space in The Stable Spa Lofts. This was a stable but has since been transformed into a luxurious and peaceful retreat.

The loft’s spacious design and modern amenities perfectly match the property’s rustic charm. It was a cozy haven to unwind and enjoy some time away from the world.
The Sky Loft offers an adjustable steam shower that may make you want to stay there for a while. Put on your lush robe afterward, and relax in your excellent quarters.
We had breathtaking views of the surrounding hills from the windows and the balcony of the shared space.

The shared space has a full kitchen and sitting area, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and exploration.
Why did we choose The Stable Spa Lofts? No children are allowed in the lofts, and the area is a quiet zone due to its connection to the spa.
No fear, though; if you are among guests with kids or like to be a little boisterous, check out the other accommodations.
Rejuvenate at The Stable Spa
One of the best parts of staying at The Horse Shoe Farm is having access to the Stable Spa, which is known as one of the top spas in the area.

After a day spent hiking or exploring, there’s nothing better than being pampered. Whether you’re indulging in a massage, facial, or one of their other treatments, the Stable Spa offers the ultimate relaxation experience.
The serene atmosphere and skilled therapists make it a must-visit during your stay.
Farm-to-Table Dining at The Silo Cookhouse
You don’t have to leave the farm to enjoy a delicious meal. The Silo Cookhouse, situated on the property, serves up fresh, seasonal dishes made with ingredients sourced from local farms.

After a day of exploring or unwinding, it’s the perfect place to indulge. The farm-to-table experience here is something special, and we highly recommend trying their signature dishes for a true taste of the area.
Bonus: breakfast is complimentary when you stay on the property.
We met both Executive Chef Dan and Chef Kyle. Both were genuinely vested in the experience of the guests and wanted to make sure that a meal at The Silo Cookhouse was one that guests would not forget! It was a pleasant experience, and we cannot wait to return.
Healing Moments at the Animal Barn
If you know us, we always seek an opportunity to interact with our furry friends.
One of the highlights of our time at The Horse Shoe Farm was definitely the chance to visit the animal barn. Interacting with the goats, horses, and chickens brought a sense of peace and joy that I didn’t expect.

The farm animals are incredibly friendly, and it was heartwarming to watch them interact with visitors, especially the playful goats. Spending time with them felt like a healing experience, and it was a perfect reminder of the farm’s commitment to both relaxation and nature.
It was one of those simple pleasures that made my stay even more special, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone staying on the property. Whether you’re a kid or an adult, a visit to the animal barn is sure to bring a smile to your face.
The Labyrinth
Speaking of healing, Horse Shoe Farm’s labyrinth is one of the most meditative parts of the property.
Though there were signs, we had some trouble finding it. It is part of The Magnolia Manor house, and you are welcome to walk it. If you didn’t know, you would think you were in the wrong place.

The labyrinth is a brick path that twists and turns through the garden. This labyrinth leads you on a linear journey that culminates in a stunning view at its center—a space perfect for quiet reflection and clarity.
It’s constructed from over 900 feet of reclaimed bricks throughout the property, a beautiful nod to sustainability and renewal.
Walking the labyrinth is more than a stroll; it’s a meditative journey blending history, nature, and intention.
The Silo Meditation Tower
One of the most unique and tranquil experiences at The Horse Shoe Farm is the Silo Meditation Tower. This sacred space offers the perfect retreat for those seeking a moment of quiet reflection.
Whether you choose to meditate, journal, or simply breathe in the stillness, the Silo provides a peaceful refuge from the outside world.

The tower’s walls are adorned with “Grains of Truth”—personal reflections and notes left by past visitors—each adding a layer of wisdom and connection to the space. As I climbed the tower, I couldn’t help but feel a deep sense of calm, knowing that so many before me had found solace in this very spot.
It’s the ideal place to slow down, clear your mind, and reconnect with yourself. Oh, and did we mention the amazing view of the farm?
Expert tip: Bring a pen or marker. We forgot ours, and there wasn’t one there to leave our notes. We’ll have to return to do so. Darn!
End Your Day by the Firepit
After a day full of adventures at The Horse Shoe Farm, there’s no better way to unwind than around the firepit.

A thoughtfully provided s’mores kit makes for the perfect opportunity to sit back, relax, and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape.
Whether you’re reflecting on moments spent at the animal barn, the Silo Meditation Tower, or a delicious meal at The Silo Cookhouse, the firepit offers a peaceful conclusion to your day.
It’s a simple yet unforgettable way to connect with nature and those around you.
The Pool House
The Pool House at The Horse Shoe Farm delivers a unique escape. Open all year, the pool and hot tub offer a front-row seat to the majestic Mount Pisgah vistas, making it the perfect spot to unwind or catch a sunset.
